HISTORY

Started in 1972, Old Union annually conducts the Old Union Missionary Baptist Ministers School during the last full week in March. Missionary Baptist Ministers gather from several states and foreign countries for fellowship and to study God’s Word.  All Missionary Baptist ministers are welcome.  For information, see the Pastor or any of the Deacons.  Applicants are required to provide a testimonial statement of their salvation and their call to the ministry.

There is a public service on Thursday evening during the school.  The preacher for that service is selected by the students during the first day of the school.

A Missions Conference is held in conjunction with the Ministers School on Tuesday of that week.  There are two sessions.  The afternoon session starts at 1:00 PM, and the evening session begins at 6:30 PM.  Everyone is invited to these services.
