Old Union Ministers School Lessons
Audio, video, and written files for 2002-2017 are available. We are working diligently to get 1975 and 1980-2001. We also have 1974, 1976, and 1979 lessons on reel-to-reel tapes that we plan to convert to MP3s. We hope to load video from past lessons as quickly as possible, but please understand that this is a very slow process as everything prior to 2006 was recorded on video tape.

Title: Intimate Grace
Speaker: Bradley Hicks
Series: 2025 Revival Sermons
Date: October 19, 2025
Bible: John 11:43; Revelation 12:11
The sermon centers on the intimate, personal nature of God's grace and providence, illustrated through the resurrection of Lazarus and the victory over evil described in Revelation 12:11. It emphasizes that God's sovereign plan unfolds not in abstract grandeur but in the specific, often painful, details of individual lives, where suffering and brokenness become the very means by which He draws people to Himself. Through stories of diverse individuals—from the religious Nicodemus to the broken woman caught in adultery—the message affirms that every life, no matter how fractured, is part of God's redemptive design. The preacher calls believers to embrace their personal testimonies as powerful declarations of God's faithfulness, urging them to share the intimate ways God has spoken their name and brought them to life. Ultimately, the sermon invites both the lost and the saved to trust in God's unseen hand, knowing that even death is not the end, but the pathway to resurrection and intimate fellowship with Him.
Please contact us if you find an audio file that is poor quality. The only recordings that exist from the early years of the Ministers School were made on handheld tape recorders and some are better quality than others.
We want to think the following people who have taken time to help us convert the tapes to MP3s: Elder Jimmy Claiborne Elder Frank DeSouza Sister Lisa Parker
And thanks to those who have donated their tape sets. Elder Jeremy Miller (1975) Elder Ron Spurgeon (1974, 1976, 1979) Elder Jim Whitney (1979, 1980)
